Dr. Janelle

Growing up in rural Wisconsin milking cows on my parents dairy farm was the root of my interest in being a veterinarian. I was always fascinated by the surgeries done by the vets on our farm and pestered them with endless questions. I first studied at the University of Wisconsin- River Falls where I double majored in Dairy Science and Equine Science. I then  moved to Edinburgh, Scotland and attended the vet school there (R(D)SVS). I graduated in July 2025 and have now started my first job as a large animal veterinarian here in Dunnville.  I am passionate about education and surgery. I really enjoy teaching and passing on the knowledge that I have accumulated in my studies. I also really enjoy the opportunities for surgical intervention in my patients and learning new techniques with my colleagues.  In my free time I enjoy reading thriller novels, getting outdoors and just being in nature in general.
